Princess of Bhavnagar credits Safir Anand for her pro-IP avatar

Princess Brijeshwari Kumari Gohil of Bhavnagar confesses how Safir Anand‘s new-found concept of IP and heritage changed her perspective on IP. An active voice on revival of heritage buildings in Bhavnagar, Princess Brijeshwari spoke recently in Ahmedabad during a panel discussion on ‘Taking Legacy to Luxury’ moderated by Safir Anand and Ruchika Mehta. Interestingly, princess Brijeshwari is an experienced heritage consultant and founder of Bhavnagar Heritage Preservation Society. She graduated in Archaeology and Art History from Nottingham, UK, and later got a postgraduate degree in Heritage Management from Durham University. On returning to Bhavnagar, she was instantly drawn to its historical marvels like ‘Darbari Kothar’ and ‘Ganga Chhatri’ and decided to work towards their resurrection from state of neglect. Working on the revival, she says it was watching the works of Safir Anand that turned her all pro-IP.
