United Nations Consultant for Intellectual Property

UN consultant providing training

It gives us immense pleasure to share that Dr. Neeti Wilson has been appointed as a United Nations Consultant for Intellectual Property Management and Technology Licensing. The program is a concerted effort of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and Pacific (ESCAP) and Asian and Pacific Centre for the Transfer of Technology (APCTT) in developing a publication for Policymakers and Managers of Technology Licensing/Transfer Offices and R&D institutes and technology-based enterprises.

As a part of the her role as a UN Consultant, Dr. Wilson also attended as a trainer/resource person the International Workshop held from 18 to 20 June 2019 in Bangkok organized by APCTT and ESCAP jointly with Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), Thailand and Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research (TISTR). The Workshop was aimed at bringing together international and national experts to deliberate on key policy issues, challenges and opportunities that are critical in managing intellectual property and technology licensing for commercial exploitation. The Workshop also provided training and practical guidance to national policy makers, managers of technology transfer and licensing offices of R&D institutes, and technology-based enterprises.

We congratulate Dr. Wilson on taking up such a commendable role and wish her all the best in the successful completion of the same.
