‘FDCI within’ rewards fashion’s most famous

FDCI's Pledge to fight COVID19

The Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) has honoured Safir Anand for his contribution to the cause of fashion in his capacity as a member of the FDCI Board of Governors.

Much like the sparkling event night at the Taj Palace, the trophy that was handed over to Safir is a bedazzling representation of human form in haute couture. It’s a mesmerising metal sculpture that captures the true essence and multiple hues of fashion – cut out in a sophisticated design faceted at angles such that every angle returns a different shade making the trophy a work of art in itself.

Who’s who of the fashion world including India’s most noted designers from Rohit Bal to Tarun Tahiliani, J J Valaya, Rahul Mishra, Gaurav Gupta, Varun Bahl, Rimple Harpreet Narula, Falguni Shane Peacock, Shantanu Nikhil, Anju Modi were among the celebrities of the world of fashion congregated for the prestigious award ceremony which sees FDCI recognising the contribution of people – designers, models, photographers to choreographers, media persons and every other talent – who have brought about a difference in the world of fashion

Here’s a media coverage of the starry night…
